A lot of thought was given to the processes that have taken place in Ukrainian history over the past centuries compared to what is happening today. How can we support those who are defending our country and our freedom today?

The third issue is codenamed – "Letters to the Front“ and focuses on the unique topic of intimate communication during current times of war. Despite the rapidly changing events of the war in Ukraine, the natural desire for various kinds of intimacy cannot be suppressed. Moreover, the image of a naked body became not only the subject of erotic fantasies, but also a means of attracting more funds to support the Ukrainian army. The concept of the social network "OnlyFans" has been transformed into a solid opportunity for voluntary financial support, known as "TerOnlyfans" ( a wordplay on "Territorial Defense" and "OnlyFans"), which you can read about in our publication. When the enemy terrorises our country every day, we unite and show our solidarity, support and care through artistic practices.

We decided not to fully translate this issue for the international audience in order to emphasise the situation of Ukrainians who were forced to stay abroad, in countries whose language they do not speak fluently. Therefore, we offer the international audience to play a transition game with the help of a translator tool to understand what exactly our topic is about. Modern times have changed a lot in Ukrainian society, showing our flexibility and ingenuity in relation to many of life's milestones. We have the opportunity to analyse the experience we live and show the world that even in war we are able to enjoy life in all its colors.

The third issue of Hrishnytsia was entirely dedicated to charity. All profits went to the voluntary organisation CVIT Ukraine, which supports the armed forces of Ukraine.
